Directions to Fields

DIRECTIONS TO SOFTBALL FIELDS

All Directions are given from the intersection of RT. 82 and the Rt. 30 Bypass north of

Coatesville.

East Brandywine Park - SHOWN AS EBP ON SCHEDULE- Take Rt. 30 Bypass East to

Downingtown. Exit at Rt. 322 and take 322 West towards Gutheriesville. At red light in

downtown Guthriesville, tum right on Hopewell Road. Go about 1/2 mile to first left turn

(Dilworth Road). Tum left onto Dilworth and go approx. 3/4 mile, Park and field on the left

directly across from Brandywine-Wallace  Elementary Restrooms

Hopewell Field- SHOWN AS HOP ON SCHEDULE - Take Rt 30 Bypass East to

Downingtown. Exit at Rt. 322 and take 322 West towards Gutheriesville. At red light in

downtown Guthriesville, turn right on Hopewell Road. Go about 3 miles. Hopewell Methodist

Church (very large) will be on the left. Go completely past the church and parking lot. DO NOT

TURN RIGHT ON ROCK RAYMOND ROAD OR YOU WILL BE LOST FOREVER!!.

Continue on Hopewell Rd about 1/4 mile to first road on right (Township Road). Bear right on

Township; the field is about 1/2 mile on right.  Port-O-Pot

CASH Varsity Field #7 - SHOWN  AS CSH ON SCHEDULES - Take Rt. 82 South into

Coatesville. At the Red Light at Rt. 82 and Lincoln Highway, tum left. Proceed through

Coatesville( about 12 blocks). After you cross the new Caln Bridge, the high school complex is

on the left side. Turn left (between stone arches at new Red Light) onto school grounds. Take

first left. There is a soccer field on left, then a softball field with backstop near the road. This is

the JV field. Pass the JV field. The road will turn right in front of the school. Parking is on the

left. The Varsity fields backstop is near the railroad tracks.  Bleachers.  NO Port-O-Pot.

Sadsburyville Field - SHOWN AS SAD ON SCHEDULES- Take Rt. 30 Bypass West to

Chester Co. Airport Exit. Go up exit ramp to stop. Make left, go 1/2 mile to red light.  Turn right

on Business Rt. 30. Go about 1.2 miles. As you enter the village of Sadsburyville, look to your

left. You will see a firehoue with school buses parked across from it. Make a left on First

Avenue,  Go to the foot of the hill. Sadsburyville Fire Co. is on the right; the field is on the left.

No bleachers.  Port-O-Pot

South Brandywine Middle - SHOWN AS SBM ON SCHEDULES- Take Rt, 82 South into 

Coatesville. At the Red Light at Rt. 82 and Lincoln Highway, turn right. Cross railroad tracks.

Go to 2nd Red Light( Strode Ave.).Turn left. Go south on Strode Ave (Rt. 82) about 3 miles.

South Brandywine Middle School is at the corner of Rt. 82 & Strasburg Rd (Gillam's Deli on

corner). Enter the second driveway.  Go straight to end of parking lot, SBM is behind the buses.

There are no bleachers at this field. Port-O-Pot

Wagontown Layton Park Field - SHOWN AS WAG ON SCHEDULES - From intersection

of Rt. 82 & Rt. 340 at Turkey Hill. Take Rt. 340 West. After about 2 miles you will pass

through Wagontown Go about another mile. The field is on the left, just across from an unused

Pizza/Deli place. Go past field and make a left on Waterworks Road. Follow it around to the

left. Field entrance is off of Waterworks Road.

West End Field - SHOWN AS WE ON SCHEDULES - Take Rt. 82 South into Coatesville.

At the Red Light at Rt. 82 and Lincoln Highway, tum right. Cross railroad tracks. Go to 2nd

Red Light (Strode Ave. - Rt. 82). Tum left. Go to second intersection (Madison- West End Fire

House on corner). Tum right" go 1 block. Field on right. Bleachers and Port-O-Pot.

Hickory Park Field - SHOWI\I AS HIK ON SCHEDULES - Take Rt. 82 north until it

intersects with Rt. 322. Cross over Rt. 322 and continue Norlh on 82. Go about 3 miles until

you see a Church on right (St Peters). Fairview Road, turn right here (just before Mom's Ice

Cream). Turn right on Fairview, go about 3 miles to stop sign at Rt. 282 in downtown

Glenmoore@ post Office & Firehouse on right hand side). Cross over Rt. 282 and stay on

Fairview Road for about I mile (Fairview Church on right). Turn right onto Little Conestog Rd.

Go to next stop sign and tum left, staying on Little Conestoga Rd. Stay on Little Conestoga for

about 3 miles to blinking stop light. At light, turn right onto Park Road Field on left approx. 1/2

mile

Wagonsellar Fields - SHOWN AS WSI & WS2 ON SCHEDULES- TakeR t. 82 north until it

intersects with Rt. 322. Cross over Rt. 322 and continue North on 82. Go about 3 miles until you

see a Church on right( St Peters). Fairview Road, turn right here just before Mom's Ice Cream).

Turn right on Fairview, go about 3 miles to stop sign at Rt. 282 in downtown Glenmoore (Post

Office & Firehouse on right hand side). Turn right on Rt. 282, go about 2 blocks to ParkrRoad

on right. Tum right, the fields are right there next to Glenmoore Church. WSI is the lower

lighted field, WS2 is the newer upper field.

Morgantown - SHOWN AS MGI & MG2 ON SCHEDULES - Take Rt. 82 north until it

intersects with Rt. 322. Turn left on Rt. 322 West and follow Honey Brook. Turn right on

Rt. 10 and follow to Morgantown (Windmill Restaurant). Tum right on Rt. 23 and go into

downtown Morgantown (DO NOT take the 4-lane highway to Reading). In downtown

Morgantown, turn left on Rt. 10 North (Red Light). Almost immediately take the first right. Go

to the third street ( about l /4 mile) on left andttum left. Field is on the left.
